Style Tip – How to Take Full Advantage of Your Special Skirts Now

It’s the last week of summer before the Fall Equinox, yet the temperatures are in the 80’s F here. Skirts feel cool because they allow air flow. You may even have some that you haven’t worn yet in the past few months. In any case, pull out a statement skirt or one that is special in some way. Then use today’s tip so that you can take full advantage of your special skirts now!

Later, when it gets cold out, do the same thing but add more layers.

Age doesn’t matter when you’ve got style!

Take Full Advantage of Your Special Skirts Now

Style Tip:

Wear a simple top to keep the focus on a special skirt.

This tip is good all year round just by choosing a cool top in the warm seasons and a warm one during the cool seasons. When layering for warmth, keep all additions simple so as not to detract from your focal point!

Wear With a White or Black Top

Pair a special skirt with a black or white top, such as a sweater or tee.

Final Thoughts

Basically, the only skirts I didn’t wear this past Summer are my special skirts! So I definitely want to take advantage of them as we transition to Fall. And then I hope to keep them in mind during the Winter, because they can be layered and worn with tights and boots.

How about you? Are you going to get some more wear from your special skirts? How do you feel about that? Please leave a reply below and let us know what you think!

    • Well, you can always start with a basic top in a solid color. I did order a yellow floral maxi skirt this summer, though, and after receiving it I had a hard time finding anything but a white t-shirt to wear with it! I did some brainstorming and gradually came up with a few ideas that will make it worth the purchase. I just don’t normally wear yellow so it’s doesn’t quite fit in with all my blues and greens.
