The Color of the Year: in 2026 It’s Cloud Dancer

The Pantone Color Institute is a world authority on color for fashion, home decor, paints…and the Color of the Year! In 2026 it’s named Cloud Dancer. They’ve based this choice on the social mood worldwide, deciding on a shade that they believe is “a whisper of peace in a noisy world.” I believe most of us would agree that is a perfect goal for these times. So I’m taking a look at how to use this in our outfits, keeping in mind its therapeutic qualities.

Let’s clear  our minds, purify ourselves, let our dreams guide us and flow like angels in the clouds. Let’s replace heavy trudging with dancing, light and free. The way you dress gives off a vibe that stays with you all day and emanates outward toward others around you. Age doesn’t matter.

Below, discover Cloud Dancer. Wearing white may sound like a simple thing, but we can all benefit from exploring special ways to wear it in our outfits. You’ll find the psychology of this color at the end of this post. For its healing properties, see “How to Dress Yourself for Immunity Using the Amazing Powers of Color” HERE.

It’s Time to Start Wearing the Spring/Summer 2026 Colors

At the beginning of spring, it’s still cold so we can’t just run outside in our shorts all of a sudden…although some people do anyways. That’s okay if they like to dive right in like that. But I like to stay cozy. It’s much warmer and easier to just start in on wearing spring colors. I’m writing this in time for the first day of spring, because I consider this the ideal time to start wearing the Spring/Summer 2026 colors.

Besides providing a mood and feeling, color is a basic component of our wardrobe. It can help everything to coordinate, creating a greater amount of outfits from what you have.

The Pantone Color Institute reports biannually on the fashion runway color trends, color psychology and more. This post presents their Spring/Summer 2026 color report from New York Fashion Week (NYFW.)  Since these colors are trending, you will look modern when you wear them. Age doesn’t matter when you’ve got style!
