Accessories for Warm and Cool-Toned Complexions

If you have warm undertones in your hair, skin and eyes, gold or bronze accessories would look best on you.
If you have cool undertones, silver should go nicely as accessories with olive clothes since gray goes well with olive. But since olive is a warm color, if you have cool tones it’s best to keep olive away from your face and use it in pants or skirts or accessories such as shoes or bags.
Turquoise jewelry looks good whether your coloring is warm or cool, depending on its specific shade. It contains elements of both blue (cool) and yellow (warm). Generally, deeper turquoise tends to be warmer, while lighter shades lean towards cooler tones.

At first, my thought was my favorite color to pair with olive is burgundy. Then, I saw it paired with pumpkin, and my mind was changed instantly! I love that combination! I may have to try it as I have a pumpkin top (and sweater) and an olive utility jacket. Thanks for all the different ideas, Angie!

Pumpkin is a much brighter color to combine with olive than burgundy! I’m glad you found a new favorite combo. 🙂
