Style Tip of the Day: How to Spice Up a Black Outfit
Wearing black may be slimming, but it’s not flattering to most complexions and can be boring without plenty of texture. That’s why the proverbial pop of color is so popular. As an installment in my Style Tips Series, today I have another idea to share on how to spice up a black outfit. And age doesn’t matter when you’ve got style. So this may be quite simple, but it really makes a difference!
Style Tip of the Day:
Pair basic black with a wild print.
Today’s style tip is a meant to inspire you with a new outfit idea that you may not have had yet. Look through your wardrobe to fine one or more wild prints. Then wear them with black.
Break up an all-black monochromatic outfit with more than a pop of color. With the right combination of colors, you’ll can get a flattering light near your face.
Or, add a beautiful printed accessory to your black outfits for a noticeable lift.
Brighten your day and your mood with a splashy print!

Honestly, I’ve never thought of this! I love that outfit from Zara! I wish I could look that cool in a black leather jacket!

A black faux leather jacket makes just about any outfit look cool! Maybe the model looks even edgier because of the black top and the tough black boots. Try a black leather jacket with a lace skirt and flat lace-up boots, or with a black top & blue jeans. Your blue hair definitely goes with this outfit formula.
