Focus on red to get you in the mood for Autumn! This color change will take your summer outfits to Fall, even if they don’t include sweaters or cozy knits. The color is cozy itself, as fiery as the autumn leaves. But there’s more to it than that. I dove right in to explore why red is the most brilliant color choice for fall fashion.
Whether in clothing or jewelry, red has a cheerful effect to perk up your wardrobe and your mood. It makes you stand out from the crowd. If you buy new pieces in this shade, it’s going to last because it is a forever classic. And so, age doesn’t matter.
This is an updated post to give you the highest quality content.
Teal clothing designs can go from Summer to Fall. Blue-green is my favorite color, so it was fun for me to check out what colors go best with teal. The result can be some really sensational outfits!
One of the most appealing things about teal is that it is a universal color that looks good on everyone. You just have to choose your favorite shade. I’m sure you’ll find when you wear this that age doesn’t matter!
You know how I say age doesn’t matter because older is bolder? Well, citron green will make you stand out. I encourage you to wear this trending color this year and beyond. The spring/summer 2024 runways introduced this zesty hue per the collections of LaPointe, Alejandra Alonso Rojas, and Elisabetta Franchi. The electric chartreuse works well for special occasions but can easily be toned down and dressed down.
As a lively yellow green, it will be useful in the fall as well. For winter, contrast it with dark and cool colors and thick, textured fabrics.
If citron is just too far out of your comfort zone, use it in accessories as a color pop with a more neutral look. For instance, add a bright handbag. Or, consider adding it as a belt or a statement necklace. Peridot gemstones create a nice blend of green.
If you don’t have anything in citron you might like to use one of its cousins, chartreuse or lime green, instead.
So let’s get comfortable with how to wear this color. First, we can become more familiar with colors that go well with it. From there, it’s pretty easy to start brightening up our outfits in a wide variety of ways.
A long time ago, I ordered a red pantsuit but the jacket didn’t fit. I wondered whether to keep just the pants and my sister said, “Who needs red pants?” But I didn’t send them back, and I’m glad I kept them. They add a pop of color to your wardrobe and are good for festive occasions. If we don’t need them, we still delight in them. Age doesn’t matter. But in order to make red pants really useful, you need to stretch your imagination and pair them with pieces that you wouldn’t normally think of. So in the spirit of helping you to make them as versatile as possible, I have found over 20 ways to wear red pants that will make you stand out!
