September has come and kids are back to school. But remember, it summer doesn’t end until the Fall equinox on September 22nd. During this time, I like to explore Fall colors to get in the mood. And then when we’re in the swing of Autumn with crisp, cool temperatures followed by the cold Winter, our clothing colors automatically change to match the natural world around us. Recently, I posted three color charts that make it easy to create colorful outfits. Now, I am sharing some outfit ideas based on color, using those charts. I hope that these ideas will inspire you to create new outfits out of what you have. Age doesn’t matter when you wear what you love!
For myself, I find it useful to start by listing all the pieces in my wardrobe that I have in a certain color. And then I look for what I have in harmonizing colors to pair with each piece. You might call this color blocking, when you combine colors other than neutrals.
