The holiday season is a good time to indulge yourself in self care. First of all, you have extra work to do preparing for gift-giving and parties so you need to give yourself some breaks. Second of all, you have occasions to dress up for more than usual so you’ll likely want to look your best. Just to get in the spirit, I have been dressing up a little more than normal every day. The new year is coming and I wish you happy times ahead! What will you be doing to celebrate New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day? I’m trying to recuperate from Covid, but it’s slow going. So I’m not sure I’ll be able to do anything at all. But I want to share a really good style tip that fits right into the holiday and throughout the entire year. I will be creating lots more outfits by dressing down a cocktail dress or two or three by using the ideas and examples below.
I have a beautiful, abundant wardrobe — too abundant, actually. I’ll have to get rid of whatever I don’t end up using. So I’ve got to get cracking on this once I’m well enough to go out.
