What to Wear to spring graduation parties, weddings, garden events, etc.

Today I am featuring one outfit combination that can serve you for just about any springtime special occasion.  It’s a classic look that can be done in various ways and used for various events.  And remember, age doesn’t matter.  Here’s the basic idea:

A plain, solid blazer or suit jacket + a white t-shirt or tank top + a flouncy skirt (tiered, ruffled or pleated…even tulle!) + a skinny belt.

The blazer can be a neutral like tan or black, or any color, or even a print.  You can substitute a lace jacket or kimono jacket if you like.  If the tank or tee isn’t a basic white or cream, it can be a light neutral or spring color.  The tank or tee could also be sequined or lacy or textured.  The skirt can be any length, any color, and can have sequins or embroidery or not.

With all these possibilities, you could wear the same outfit with interchangeable pieces to all of your spring events!
