3 Charts That Make It Easy to Create Colorful Outfits
A color chart is a fun tool to use as a starting point when creating outfits. You can mix colors to your heart’s content to express your true self. Or, you can create colorful outfits from the guide that I have put together for you below. When using these charts, just choose a piece of clothing in a basic color and see what colors are indicated to go with it. Color is art, and art is beauty. You can consider yourself a work of art every day; age doesn’t matter. Have fun!
The following charts can help simplify your color choices.

Colors that Harmonize with the Basic Color of Your Garment:
Basic Color – Pale Secondary Color
White…………………………………….Black, blush, peach, baby blue & all the dark and bright shades
Cream……………………………………Brown, green
Pale beige……………………………..Black, browns, reds, greens
Sand………………………………………Butter yellow, apricot, hibiscus, bottle green
Pale gray……………………………….Browns, dark greens, dark gray, red
Sky blue………………………………..Browns, dark greens, raspberry, purple, pink, beige, dark gray, light gray, navy, aubergine
Periwinkle…………………………….White, cream, beige, tan, aqua, turquoise, navy, gray, silver, lemon yellow, mustard, sunflower, gold
Pink……………………………………….Black, white, beige, purple, navy, gray, green
Pale yellow…………………………..Black, navy, brown, gray
Mauve……………………………………Plum, brown, navy
Pale green…………………………….Dark green, red
