A bomber jacket is useful on cooler days or evenings.  Although it is an athleisure piece, it can be dressed up as well as down.  Age doesn’t matter because on-trend styles always look young!  There are lots of modern versions out now, including off-the-shoulder jackets.  And since the bomber jacket is a classic, you should even be able to find one at a secondhand store.

There are quilted bombers, sequined ones, leather ones, lace ones, weatherproof ones, fleece ones, denim ones, baseball style, military style, you name it!

Since there are so many types of bomber jackets, you can use one to dress up or down a plain outfit.  Or, on the other hand, you can dress up or down your bomber with special outfits or casual ones.

A bomber jacket can be used in place of a jean jacket, moto jacket or even in place of a utility jacket.

Here are some ways to wear the bomber, including how to look slick while you’re at it.  😉

My husband said, “These are not bomber jackets!  Do you know what a bomber jacket is?  It was what the WWI fighter pilots wore for protection.”  They looked like this:
