Age doesn't matter.

How to Have Fun with Colorful Outfits

“The whole point is to live life and be…to use all the colors in the crayon box.” – RuPaul

Have you ever played the color game at work?  I never have, but a friend was telling me about it.  Her name is Sharon.  She was telling me about how someone where she worked would organize all interested office personnel to wear different color combinations each day for a week.

One day, the organizer of the game might tell all of the participants, “Wear pink and blue tomorrow,” or black and white, or even yellow and purple.  The next day, Sharon said, it was amazing how many different variations there were on one color combination.

She said it was lots of fun.  And what she especially loved about it was that it got her to mix things up because she had become too “matchy matchy.”

Even if you don’t work at an office, and even if you work independently rather that in a group, you could play this game on your own or you could find out if the group you work with would be interested in playing.  Age doesn’t matter.  It’s all in the spirit of fun.

Have fun playing with style and you just may feel like a kid again.  It’s like adult coloring with crayons when you mix up color combinations in your outfits.  😉

Some autumn color combinations are:

  1. Navy and burgundy
  2. Gray and lavender
  3. Olive green and orange
  4. Teal and mustard
  5. Forest green and indigo blue
  6. Camel and rust
