6 Tips For How to Arrive at the Airport in Comfort and Style —

  1. Don’t forget a blanket scarf or shawl.  Even if you’re flying to a tropical island in Hades, it will be cold inside the plane.  For warm-weather trips, a large lighter-weight cotton scarf will suffice and won’t take up much room.
  2. Wear shoes that are easy to slip off and back on as well as flat for fast and comfortable walking.  Try ballet flats, or preferably side-zip boots.
  3. Slip on cute & cozy socks.  Make sure your socks are thick enough to brave the airplane cabin chills.  And if they’re in a print or color that matches your outfit, you won’t be embarrassed to show them off!
  4. Pack a sleep mask or wear sunglasses to help you get a nap on the plane.  Or, you could even tie a bandanna or scarf around the handle of your bag and then tie it over your eyes when you want to sleep.
  5. If you have an iPad, laptop or tablet, turn your tech case into a wallet.  Many fashion brands are making cases with extra pockets.
  6. Opt for silk pants if possible.  They are lightweight, comfortable and adaptable to changing temperatures.   Silk regulates body temperature so it can be both warm and cozy or it can cool us down.  And it packs easily for the return trip.
