4 Style Tips on Creating Outfits With Chunky Necklaces
Hi, how’s the weather where you are? It’s VERY hot here in Detroit for the beginning of September: in the 90’s this week. No matter what the calendar says, these temperatures mean the dog days of summer are still here. So the coolest summer clothes are all we can wear…and all I can think about writing on. Reviewing my blog post possibilities, I settled on a set of four style tips for something I could wear at this time: chunky necklaces. For comfort in hot weather, a necklace of lightweight chunks, such as wood beads, can go with a top and skirt. Going into fall and winter and then back to next spring again, the following tips will help you style outfits with chunky necklaces anytime.

4 Style Tips for Outfits With Chunky Necklaces
Style Tip #1
Pair a colorful chunky necklace with a solid top that has a simple neckline. Choose accessories that match the style of the necklace.
A chunky gold link necklace goes with anything anytime. Wear with a suit, or a skirt or pants outfit. It can go in any style direction: casual, business, evening, etc.
Style Tip #2
Add a solid-color chunky necklace to a fun printed top. Choose accessories that match the style of the necklace.
This outfit combination is for when you want color in your life. It’s fun, playful and can cheer you up on a boring day.
Style Tip #3
Wear a chunky necklace with a billowy top. The weight of the jewelry will hold the shirt closer to your chest.
Do you have a top that sticks out, floats around and needs a bit of discipline, elongation or shape? A long, chunky necklace can give you the look you want.
Style Tip #4
With solids or casual ethnic prints, wear a tribal chunky necklace. Try an African, South American, Western Indian, wood, stone, coral and/or turquoise necklace.
A global look makes a big style impression. If you just want to enjoy a special necklace and keep things simple, wear it with solids.

This afternoon while at the beach, I saw the title of your post, and I mentioned to my friend Miriam how interested I was in it. I have about a million chunky necklaces, and I would love the opportunity to wear them again! I love every single one of the options you have shown!
I always tend to think that I should save my chunky necklaces for special occasions. Writing this blog reminds me that it’s perfectly fine to wear good stuff any day…and helps me to give attention to all of the things in my wardrobe!
