Easy Style Tip: Dress Up Denim for the Holidays
When you are thinking of what to wear to casual December celebrations, here’s a reminder for an easy style formula. All you really have to do is dress up denim for the holidays. That way, you can be comfortable and festive all at once. Age doesn’t matter. I hope this tip inspires some wonderful outfits that make you feel joyful wherever you may go this season!
Style Tip for the Holidays:
Pair worn-in denim with sparkly, embellished tops and accessories, including gold or other metallics.
We’re talking about your well-worn and most likely your favorite jeans here! These give you the most comfort when dressing up and allow you to load on all the bling your heart desires.
If you prefer skirts over pants, by all means wear your sparkly top and accessories with a jean skirt.
Any gold top will do, but the more sparkle the better. Amp it up with shiny gold accessories; sparkling silver jewelry will do as well. Or, go all silver. Or, wear a gold top with shiny silver jewelry.
If you have some favorite wide-leg jeans, go ahead and wear them with an embellished top and similarly special accessories.
It doesn’t matter what color jeans you wear, from ivory to black and everything in between.
Feel free to mix high and low with a sparkly blouse and distressed jeans.
For the holidays, glam it up with accessories that sparkle and shine. Throughout the rest of the year, this outfit formula is good for parties with simpler accessories. Examples are: animal print belts and footwear, pearls, your best sneakers or chunky boots.
The Ease of Today’s Style Tip

Isn’t it funny how mainstream denim is? I mean, it has been for years, but you can dress it up as well as dress it down. I just bought the best pair of barrel jeans…a little over the top. I thought my husband would think they were too extra, but he loves them! I’m going to use some of your tips for styling them! Thanks, Angie!
