How to Look Like the Goddess You Truly Are
The Goddess look has been circulating since last year. This Summer, there is a focus on Greco-Roman draped silhouettes, gilded styles in beauty and fashion, bronzy-gold jewelry, statuesque hair and romantic/soft-glam styling rather than “clean” minimalism. I’ll guide you through the clothing elements of this so we can create beautiful outfits that bring out our true selves. I’d like to show you how to look like the goddess that you are. Age doesn’t matter.
But first, I have some thoughts about why women might be particularly interested in this today.
Why Is the Goddess Look Persisting at This Time?

With all the dark forces in the world coming to the surface and trying to assert their mighty and complete control over us, we as a people are accessing our inner powers of courage in our hearts and with our voices. The dark forces I am referring to are various billionaires, systems, countries and events around the world. I believe that after hundreds of years of struggle, the divine feminine is rising This means women taking back our power in many ways. Please do let me know if you agree by leaving a reply below.
While women have been repressed, yet they are no less deserving and able than men. Now is the perfect time to recognize our true worth within and to bring it forth to shine on the outside. From there, we will assert our active part in the greater society as we are meant to do.
That’s my sense of why there is a growing interest in looking like a goddess on the outside: because we are more and more recognizing our true worth on the inside, accepting it and owning it.
So with that said, let me show you how to look like the goddess that you are.
How to Look Like the Goddess You Are
The essence of this look is floaty and magical with luxe airy textures, gilded with gold and gemstones.
Style Elements
Use the following elements in your outfits:

- Silk and tactile metallic textiles,
- Grecian style,
- Draped shapes,
- Flared sleeves,
- One-shoulder and wrap tops,
- Tie belts and chain belts,
- Precious metals and gemstones,
- Knuckle rings and tattoos,
- Golden makeup and nail art.
If you want to make it feel current, lean a bit more toward:

- Sheer and layered textures (mesh, chiffon, gauze) instead of only solid knit,
- Sharper accessories (chunky gold cuff/chains, more contrast,)
- Modern styling balance (one dramatic piece + a simpler base to make it less fully “costume” head to toe.)
It’s totally not necessary to put together an entire look based on these style elements. Just pick and choose one or more of them based on what you love best and be your true self. The key is to bring out the goddess in you.
Dresses

With a flowing maxi dress, wear a kimono or duster and statement earrings. Or you can top with a shawl that is draped or made of burnout velvet.

Try a sleeveless black maxi dress with a burnout velvet kimono. Add a long gold pendant and long gold earrings.

Tie a draped and flowing maxi dress with a sash.
Caftans

Long, flowing caftans are goddess-like, especially in whites or golds or with sparkles.
Skirts

Dusters & Kimonos
Long duster with ruffled sleeves

Layer a crochet lace kimono cardigan over a white top extender. Then add a chiffon maxi skirt above for an exquisite Goddess look.
Even Swimsuits!

It’s the goddess-like draping and shirring at the bust and waist that gives a swimsuit divine vibrations. Top with a long, filmy coverup.
How to Look Like a Goddess

It’s easy to look like the goddess you are day or night. Think of Grecian style, such as a wrapped and shirred bodice or a cowl neck or one-shoulder piece. Start with a long flowing dress or slip dress, a skirt or a caftan. Perhaps you have something in a shade of white, gold, silver or violet. It’s even better if there is some embellishment. Or maybe the material is in chiffon or lace or has ruffles or diagonal lines in the design. Drape a long, flowing scarf or kimono duster over. Add gold and gemstones reminiscent of royalty. Your footwear could be flat strappy sandals in gold or a neutral tone, or embellished mules.
And finally, when you look in the mirror remember the goddess you are.

Oh wow, so very feminine. I love the skirts!
I haven’t head of the Goddess Style, but I like it a lot! I think it would be close to some of my boho styles. Yes, I do think women have had enough and are rising up to get this planet in order.

I agree on both counts: 1) I noticed that this fashion style resembles boho in many ways, and 2) this planet needs the nurturing and good relationship skills of women to permeate it with love instead of war.
