Animal Print, Neutral Outfits
This is the seventh in a series on animal print outfit ideas. I started out with three style tips and then went on to tops HERE, toppers HERE and bottoms HERE. What can we do to come up with outfit ideas for dresses? Well, that’s done with layering. Layering is great for transitional weather and definitely for fall and winter. But you also need something to keep the chill off in warm weather in restaurants and offices. And then there are lightweight pieces made of sheer, semi-sheer, lace, crochet, eyelet, etc., that can be added in spring and summer. So this post is focused on how to layer animal-print dresses. In my next post of this series, I will take a look at how animal-print accessories can punch up any outfit.

Animal prints are good for all seasons. They come in many different colors and materials. Neutral leopard prints dominate. But these prints can easily be found in bright colors and some have floral or tropical images mixed right in. This post on animal print toppers is part of a series created for all women. Age doesn’t matter when you’ve got style!
For toppers, think jackets, cardigans, kimonos, dusters, vests, etc. These toppers are divided into sections of outfit combinations below. In the ideas following, I have used leopard print as the topper simply because it fits the color scheme of the rest of the outfit. But I’m sure any animal print can be used just as well as leopard, which just happens to be the most widely available.
