How to Save Money by Embellishing with Accessories
When you want to dress up for a special time or place, there’s no need to buy special clothes. Instead, you can embellish any simple outfit with accessories. Be like a Christmas tree and just add ornaments. Lol! Below are 12 style tips that show you how easy it is to save money by embellishing with accessories.
Age doesn’t matter. Wear what you like and then add the special touches.
A few common examples of embellishment are lace, pearls, gemstone beads, sparkle (of course), and statement jewelry (i.e., necklaces, earrings, bracelets, pins, rings, belts). Scarves also count. And killer shoes or boots would be the perfect finish!
Here are 12 Style Tips for embellishing your outfits for evening:
- Take a darling simple skirt and add a sparkly belt draping lower on your hip.

- Add a colored statement necklace to an all-black outfit, or an outfit that’s the same color as the necklace.
- If you have a favorite Pair of shoes or bag, match a statement necklace to it.
- A maxi dress or little black dress + a statement necklace + heels + a clutch.

- Add a lacy and/or festive-color kimono over camisole, tank or tee with jeans.
