Age doesn't matter.

Floral Outfits for Every Season for Color, Femininity & Romance

Aren’t florals a fashion “trend” every year when the flowers are blooming? I can’t remember a Spring when this print was not in style. But it doesn’t have to go away during transitional weather because it can be layered. And in the winter, just wear it in a darker ground such as black or navy. Due to it’s classic quality, age doesn’t matter. So I thought it’s about time to take a look at what we have in our closets and focus on creating some floral outfits for every season. And with all the trending designs this Spring, who knows? You might get tempted to add a new bloom to your wardrobe!

Included in this post are two style tips and outfit ideas for each season as well as some that can be worn any time of the year.

Floral Outfits for Every Season

Style Tip #1:

Pair anything in a floral print with sequins and/or lace.

Style Tip #2:

Add anything in a leopard-print to a floral dress, top, skirt or pants. For example, you might add a leopard scarf, belt, top, bottom, topper, handbag, hat or footwear.

Example:

Mix a floral-print big shirt with animal-print leggings or pants. Or pair a regular-size floral short with an animal-print skirt. If cool, add a fur vest.

Outfit Ideas

Look at all of the colors in your floral piece and find all of the clothes in your wardrobe in one or more of those colors (as a print) that you can pair with it. Don’t forget to check your scarves and shawls for options, too.
