It’s always interesting to see what the most popular posts were from the year before. What women want to know becomes clear as well as how lifestyles are changing. In my top 10 most popular posts of 2021 for instance, here are some things I learned:
It seems that women wonder “what colors go with olive??”
There are special items of clothing that seem to be only for special occasions; but I think women are always happy to find out ways to wear them casually for any day they feel like it.
In fact, since the Covid pandemic, comfort rules!
Although women are interested in being sexy, they want to be comfortable at the same time.
That brings me to the idea of body-conscious clothing. Who wants to sacrifice comfort and confidence to be sexy? Not men and not women either. Modesty is important to a sexy look that goes outside the house.
Layering is important for warmth and for style too, but it’s a tricky skill to master.
Kimonos are a beloved style element. Therefore, I would advise everyone to have at least one!
Designing a blazer without sleeves was a genius idea that created a cool look for warm-weather business…and then evolved into styles for every other occasion as well!
Women want freedom and youth. So I always try to show how age doesn’t matter!
Whether you’re working at home or relaxing on weekends, you can still look good — even when no one’s looking. Just for you…your true self…body, mind and soul…to be comfortable and beautiful. So I’m going to share with you my ideas on how to look cute when you’re just lounging around. Age doesn’t matter.
Since I’ve been working at home writing a fashion blog, I don’t need to get dressed for work anymore. I’m around the house a lot. And, of course, I just want to be comfortable. It’s time to dress down.
Yet I still like to play with colors, scarves are my signature piece, and I like to add a cool piece of jewelry or more. As always, I don’t like to wear the same thing twice; I like to create endless combinations of what I have. Yet I have some favorite combos, such as a tunic with skinnies or a maxi with a t-shirt. And the best thing is: I love my jeans.
What do you wear when you’re just hanging around the house? Do you wear sweats or jeans and a tee? Are you tired of the same old thing and feel like you’re ready for some new inspiration? Do you want to look great while you lounge in comfort?

While self-quarantining at home, this is the perfect time to explore how to style pajamas as daywear. And then as we gather in public again, this is always a comfortable style that can be made chic for around town and for evenings. Age doesn’t matter!
So today I’d like to explore ten ways to wear pajamas as daywear, along with some tips to help inspire you further. Even if you stay at home, you’ll look like you’re actually dressed! Best of all, you can drop into bed at the end of a tiring day without changing…or rather, my favorite is to get up in the morning already dressed. 😉 All you have to do is accessorize for day.
When my kids were in high school, the girls started wearing pajama pants to school in place of their regular pants, skirts or jeans. And they managed to look perfectly normal. After that, I learned from my daughter that I could go about town in pajama pants as long as they looked presentable (such as plaid, etc.) So if I was just going to run out to the store or something like that, I would wear a t-shirt and a pair of plaid pajama pants with street shoes and accessories.
In the last few years, designers have been creating pajama sets for day that are made of luxe materials and look quite glamorous. For instance, the Johnny Was catalog sells some nice ones (see above.) An updated pajama set can be made of satin or velvet. And a velvet pajama set that has a camisole top can actually be used year round.
