Style Tip of the Day: A Fantasy to Help You Dress Down Fancy Jackets

Would you like to think of ways to dress down fancy jackets so you could wear yours more often? I have an easy style tip that can help you make that happen. A simple little fantasy is all it takes to be able to wear them anytime. Age doesn’t matter.

Style Tip:  Wear a Fancy Jacket Like a Jean Jacket

The key is to just pretend! A jean jacket goes with anything, so this little fantasy breaks your fancy jacket free from expectations. It can go from evening and special events to ordinary, everyday excursions when you think outside of the box.

What do you usually wear your jean jacket with? Think of all of the ways you do that or you might even write them down. Then, switch into these outfit combinations all of the possible fancy jackets you have. How many new outfits do you come up with? It’s at least worth taking a look…and having some fun with this!

Besides, the way I see it is that when I want a coverup to keep the chill off, I can just grab a fancy jacket on my way out the door. It’s great for a last-minute dinner invitation, too. Just throw one on over whatever you’ve been wearing all day.

Take a tip from Brenda Kinsel’s fashion blog and wear one of your fancy jackets over a neutral outfit such as a white tank, jeans and nude sandals. She found that her colorful Etro jacket needed some big time wattage in the jewelry department. She settled on two chunky pearl necklaces, a chunky bangle and big crystal earrings.
